Lanjut’s18-hole golf course layout is set against the natural beauty of the tropical rainforest, and provides the true test of skill and judgement for golfers of all levels.  In addition, the par 72 course is located along the 3.5 kilometer sandy beach of Kuala Rompin.

Redesigned by Ted Parslow, the spectacular par 72 international standard Lanjut - Rompin today comprises 18 memorable holes of defined fairways flanked by enormous trees, large free-form bunkers and huge, undulating and speedy greens. Visitors can expect speeds of at least 8 to 8.5 feet on any normal day – something which only the top courses in the county can offer.

There are so many challenging and memorable holes at Lanjut that is difficult to highlight any particular one but its signature hole at number 5, a par 3 at 167m, certainly takes some beating. From the elevated tees, an expanse of water surrounds the entire right flank of the large 2-tiered green which is well protected by a huge front bunker. Exact clubbing and a precise stroke are a must to keep the ball out of trouble and land on the putting surface.

Sited adjacent to the South China Sea, golfers will have to contend with the gusty sea breezes especially in the late afternoons. Buggies are allowed onto the course but golfers should be responsible enough to avoid causing damage during the wet weather and keep off the roped areas. The quaint and functional club house has all the golfers’ basic needs.

A short distance away is the new Lanjut Beach & Golf Resort which has opened in July 2018. The resort has a total 196 – rooms comprises of suites and superior rooms.
